🇮🇳Harinder Sikka is currently the group director ,strategic business, Piramal group .

🇮🇳After graduating from Delhi University ,he joined the Indian Navy.

 🇮🇳He was commissioned in January 1981 and took premature retirement in 1993 as a Lieutenant Commander.

🇮🇳 'Calling Sehmat' is his first book.

🇮🇳It has been made into a film' Raazi' by Meghna Gulzar .

🇮🇳Sikka lives in New Delhi with his family.

🇮🇳 'Calling Sehmat' is a real life story written by Harinder Sikka .

🇮🇳It is this book upon which the blockbuster movie 'Raazi' has been made .

🇮🇳But as everybody knows movies have a lot of alterations made to the real story which is reason I thought to give it a read.

🇮🇳The book revolves around the life of Sehmat Khan , an Indian spy who played a major role in the Indo- Pak war of 1971 .

🇮🇳Sehmat was another ordinary girl until one day ,she found out about her father's illness .

🇮🇳Hidayat, Sehmat's father secretly worked for the Indian Intelligence Agency but couldn't do it more.

🇮🇳 Therefore he married his only child, Sehmat to the son of the Pakistani brigadier in order to withdraw confidential information of the Pakistani army.

🇮🇳 The book shows sehmat's sacrifices made for her country.

🇮🇳But there are lots of variations made to the true story in the movie .

🇮🇳I love each and every inch of the book as it dripped patriotism with every page .

🇮🇳The language is easy .

🇮🇳This book is must read for every Indian!!!!!
